Best restaurant I have been to in a while. The food is amazing! You can tell they are using quality ingredients. Everything I tried was spectacular. The service was attentive, friendly and made the time there very pleasurable. Tracy was one of the best servers that I have ever had. He went above and beyond. The decor and ambiance was beautiful and extremely clean! From start to finish this place is great! Would highly recommend!

Came here on a Sunday at 12:30 with a girlfriend. Loved the vibe inside, big rooms and lots of space for seating, they have a bar area to the left and more formal seating to the right. We sat in the back room, which was nicely decorated for the holiday. I ordered an expresso martini and it was very good. We split the homemade mozz sticks and calamari as apps. I was told to come here specifically for the mozz sticks and they did not disappoint--great cheese pull, seasoning was good and the marinara was sweet and savory. The calamari was okay, good crisp but it wasn't my favorite. For our mains, we both ordered the steak sandwich with truffle fries. The sandwich was soo yummy, we both took half home and a good portion of the fries which were delicious and crispy. Our waitress was very attentive and everything came out in a timely manner. I would definitely come back for dinner, their menu has lots of yummy sounding options. My only negative is the parking lot, the lot was full by the time I arrived (10 mins prior to my reservation) and I got lucky that someone was leaving, otherwise I guess I would have to park on the street. Overall, Oak House is definitely on my would-go-back list!

After saying we wanted to try this place for a while, we decided to come here for dinner one night over Christmas break. I made reservations the day of, and not that many times were available but we don't mind eating late. When we arrived, it was valet parking. When we entered, the place was nicely decorated for Christmas with lots of garland. first impression when we walked in with the ambience was really nice and I loved the decor l. When you walk in the bar is to your left and it was a nice size. We would definitely go back and have a drink and apps (or maybe their happy hour) at the bar. Service was great. Our waiter (I believe his name was Mike) was really attentive. I like how he first took our appetizer order and then later came back for our entrees. To start we spilt the BLT salad which was huge. It had so much blue cheese in it and was delicious. I wish we ordered it without onions since we aren't the biggest raw onion fans. For an entree my husband had the steak sandwich which was soo good. The fries were addictive. They were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I had the Chilean sea bass which was cooked perfectly and had a nice caramelized crust on top. I didn't love the butternut squash risotto it came with, it was a little too much cinnamon and apple tasting for my liking. But the fish was so good, I didn't mind. It was hard to pick what we wanted for entrees. We look forward to going back and trying more dishes. It

Everyone loved it. Make sure to try out the wings. Our cocktails were wonderfully crafted. Can't go wrong with The Kentucky Derby. They did a great job with the steaks. Even the kids' meals were well thought out. We went for my wife's birthday and they were nice enough to put a sparkler on the sorbet. Will be back.

The food was very good - except I ordered the chick peas salad and it was overwhelming with Vinegar! I had one bite. They took it right away but never asked if I wanted anything else instead. It was funny when the waiter who took it came back to tell me they would take it off the bill. Well of course - since I didn't eat it and they swiped it away quite quickly. I also asked for celery with the spinach dip and they charged me $5 for it. Considering how much we ordered I was a bit surprised. The sweet potato fries are amazing! The other food was just ok. Service was not as good as last time. A bit disappointing this visit.

We've been meaning to try this place and were able to for an early Mother's Day celebration. The interior was beautiful, a big difference from the former Charley Brown's restaurant that was there before COVID. The tables at the front section of the establishment were high tops, and those at the back were lower. We had an amazing waitress, Amanda, who was very kind and professional, as well as an attentive and friendly wait staff. The food we ordered was delicious, sizable, and not too pricey. The chicken parmesan, truffle fries, and spicy shrimp were definitely huge portions. I highly recommend this place!

Who said there aren't any great, trendy, intimate restaurants in Bergen County with great food????? The Oak House lived up to ALLLL of my expectations when we went out for my wife's birthday dinner recently. We dropped in on a Thursday evening at around 6pm and, at first it was relatively quiet, but boy did it get busy fast. For a Thursday evening the restaurant was bustling with all types of parties - families, friends, date night goers - it really was a restaurant for all occasions. The restaurant was relatively lively, but not loud at all. Also, the decor and setting was cozy, but casual and not overly romantic where you couldn't just come here for a night out with friends. Prior to arriving, I had already done my research as their menu was readily available on their website and we wasted absolutely no time and ordered the following: Crab Cake Crispy Chicken Parm Hot Honey Pizza Rib Eye Steak with Truffle Fries Sauteed Spinach Grilled Asparagus Brussels Sprouts w/ Bacon Let me just sum it all up. It was ALL...and I seriously mean ALL...delicious! Not a single complaint about any of the dishes we ordered. The chicken parm was massive, but fantastic. If you love roni cups, then you'll love the Hot Honey Pizza - which had a slight kick to it. Crab Cake - seriously, who doesn't love that? The Rib Eye Steak - cooked to perfection. The spinach, asparagus and brussels sprouts sides - even your kids will like it. That's how good it was. We really, really enjoyed the food here and loved the atmosphere. I can totally see us coming back one day or bringing friends/family. The only downside to the evening was the blah service from our waiter. He never came back to see how we were doing and just seemed like he wasn't all that into serving us, but he wasn't outwardly rude or anything like that. Let's just say a bit more enthusiasm would have been nice. Other than that, the evening and, more importantly, the food was perfect.

Stopped here for our yearly tradition. We used to go when it was the Charlie Browns. As we drove by today we noticed the new name so we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. Our waitress was very attentive. The inside is very nicely done with a rustic/modern look. Food and drinks were very good! Drinks were well worth it- first place I've been in a while I didn't feel like I was paying for the mixer in my drink. The breakfast potatoes were done perfectly!

Food was great. Went early but it quickly became very crowded and super noisy. Everyone was screaming at the table to be heard Filet mignon sandwich and espresso martini was delicious!! I thought there Was more than enough steak on this sandwich. Not sure what all the complaints are about Waitstaff was fine and interior was very nice. Parking a bit of a challenge

Newly opened restaurant, replacing a previously closed down one at this same location. Oak house has few other locations. We were able to reserve a table few minutes before the restaurant opening hours on Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking right next to the restaurant. The restaurant has beautiful exterior and equally nice interior. Wonderful ambiance, huge spacious bar and well designed dining area. The menu is well curated, not over blown with too many items. We tried the mussels, that came with bread, excellent dish served in juicy tomato soup like broth. For entree we had brozino and spicy shrimp risotto. Both were fantastic. Branzino had vegetables and crab meat, a well balanced dish. Risotto was creamy, with whole shrimp on top, and chunks of it mixed in the risotto. It wasn't overly spicy, but had enough kick. We ordered few drinks, that were well made. We ended up ordering them again. Servers and stuff were very nice. Overall we had a great dinner and really happy to have this new restaurant near our home.
